Summary setting

  I want to set my blog to only show the first paragraph of the post, and then have a link to “continue reading” without displaying the entire post. This way, more than one post will show up on the home page. I’ve checked the “summary” setting but this does not seem to be working. Am I doing this correctly?

  Yes we can split text in posts and on pages by inserting “the more tag“. There are also other ways to split text.

  The summary setting here > Setting > Reading is ONLY for your RSS feeds. It does not split content in post or pages.
