  Why does my blog not show summary when I have summary selected?

  Selecting a summary here > Settings > Reading applies only to the RSS Feed. To split content in a post insert “the more tag”. http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

  Worked great thanks.

  Also played with widgets. My blog only showed under Meta the log in/out and admin links, yet was not in the main side bar box, but in the inactive widgets box. (even though it was active!) I dragged it to the main side bar box and now shoes rss entries, rss comments and wordpress link… I dont want these, I only want it back to show log in/out and admin.. how please?
