Summer Vacation

Is this really Summer vacation??? so hard to tell when you’re taking summer school. The kids are out of school and going to the water parks as often as possible. I actually played hooky from school one day because it was the familys first trip to folsom lake and the suntan lotion and kentucky fried chicken were calling my name. It was great, no water, but great.There were no jetskis, or boats of any kind, the water was too low. The boys loved it they could walk from island to island, with the water only up to their waist. We layed on rafts and floated around it was a triple digit day but we didn’t notice, there was a nice cool breeze blowing across the beach. Although I had lots of homework it was soo worth it. Now I am playing catch up for my lazy days, thank goodness I just have Yoga and computer class. The first summer I started college I took Math and English, they were super hard classes to take at an accelerated rate, but I managed to get a B, however I did learn that I do like summer and it’s nice to have some time off so now I take better classes during summer that allow me some freedom. We are still planning a family vacation to Nevada to see relatives the weekend of July 19th so I will need to get all my assignments caught up so I can actually go on the trip and enjoy myself without worrying about outstanding work that needs to be done. It’s one thing to take a trip and it’s another to actually enjoy yourself and I don’t know about you but as for me I have to go with all my work done so I can go carefree with nothing hanging over my head to worry about, like I said it’s one thing to take a vacation and another thing to be able to absolutely enjoy it. The next two weeks I will be working hard to get everything in order. This way I still get to enjoy summer and do well in school. I will update you as the plan rolls out how things are going. I always say a good plan is a necessity. I can’t wait to impliment the new reading skills I’ve learned in personal development, I soo needed a better plan there. I will begin reading our book and implementing the plan so I will keep you posted as to how well my new reading skills have helped me, bye for now
