  How do I summarize my posts on my static page to say “see more”…so that my post is not so long.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You are looking to display excerpts in your post listing.
  Support-excerpts
  Your theme, Twenty Thirteen, isn’t set up to display excerpts in this manner (I think it only does in search results). One option would be switching themes to one that allows this (Inuit Types is one).

  Another would be to list your posts on a page using shortcodes. This page explains how to do just that:
