"Superhero" theme custom BG not working

  I am attempting to change the background image and / or color of my blog, currently using the Superhero theme. None of the changes appear to stick. I go to Themes, Customize, Background, select my image, upload it, and hit save…and on the sidebar the theme seems stuck on “saving” in perpetuity. When I load the blog in a separate tab, there is no change to the background image. Same problem attempting to change the BG color.

  Hi, are you still having this issue with the BG image not saving?

  I went to one of my blogs and activated Superhero theme and changed the BG image the way you detailed and it worked okay on my end.

  I finally got this to work, but I had to change it in a slightly different way. The interface by which you change things “live” (ie, when you are looking at your blog and there is a menu of options on the left for changing appearance)…this still doesn’t work for me. But I was able to go in via a different set of menus and make the change just fine. So not sure what the deal is?

  Could be a browser rendering issue, but I’m not entirely sure. Glad you got it to work! :)

  @cennwyn, thank you for reporting this issue earlier. We have made a few recent updates to the Customize section, and I was wondering if you would be willing to check again to see if background images are working for you there now?
