Superhero there not allowing a featured content as shown in demo

  I have read these blogs to try and get my issue fixed.

  I cant set up the full page featured content slider. in settings – reading theres no featured content option to assign a tag to it, like it is explained on a few fourms on here.

  Any Suggestions?

  The Superhero Theme (on WordPress.com) – Unable to create Featured Content using method described in: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/superhero/

  I have attached a ‘tag’ under the Settings > Reading options. In post, I have attached one tag (under the Categories section).

  This does not ‘feature’ the content as per the demo screenshot of this theme.

  Please can you help?

  As the supportbot pointed out (and someone in the other thread) as this is an issue with a self hosted blog it is a .org issue.
  Jetpack Is the plugin you’re looking for to solve this issue.

  @shawdonald can you provide a link to your blog?
  I think your issue is that you’re putting your posts in a category with the same name as the featured tag, instead you must tag the post with the tag you set in the reading options.
