SuppDelete or modify Categories in a WordPress free version

  Hello everyone and thank you for your help in advance.
  I’m using a free version of WordPress and I use the template with the categories on the widget side. I easily create categories and sub categories, but cannot correct or delete them. The help on the forums does not work because it is for the full version. Do you have a solution ? thank you in advance
