  I am a new customer and was ready to purchase. I tried contacting support for a few important questions, but wordpress has made it very difficult to contact support via phone. Consequently I am going with another company that has extremely good support. Thanks anyway.

  Feedback noted, thanks! You’re correct in that we do not have phone based support, so if that is a requirement you would want another company.

  I think you’re being a little unfair as your original question was only posted 7 minutes before this one. This is a support forum for free sites not instant Live chat.
  I hope (but doubt) that you will find another service with better support in all things than here at WordPress.com.

  There definitely are places that offer phone support. We do offer WordPress support too though, and finding phone support for that elsewhere tends to cost quite a bit more. The chat-based support here is excellent, so if you change your mind, @frp1568, I’d recommend adding a plan here:
