i tried to contact support but the page comes up with error constantly – any known problems here? Custom banner loads but does not show on site when using Quintus theme. Also, Comet theme – theme does not change colours when saved, nor format… what’s up with all of this? These aren’t the only issues I am having with trying to customise my blog – is this common?
Thank you.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

How are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers. Are you using http:// or https:// see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Which browser and version of it are you using? Have your tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clear-your-cache-and-cookies
Is your browser version up to date? You can upgrade any browser version here.
http://browsehappy.com/Do you have third party cookies enabled? Do you have another browser you can try?
You can use this link to see if your Flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not up to date then this is where to download and install the latest version of Flash. http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
Sometimes operating system and/or security system updates can cause problems so check for known issues. When you make adjustments to your browser settings — changing privacy settings, deleting cookies or increasing security — you will need to close your window and restart the browser before those new settings become effective.

Please take note of what auxclass said above. If you need any further help on this then we require an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question. Here’s how to link your username to your active blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.

It’s a bit confusing as to why it picks up something deleted but I will take note and go and investigate :-) Thanks.

You need to follow the instructions I posted in order to remove the link to the deleted blog and replace it with the link to your primary blog. It’s easy to do. :)

It was easy and have done it now. It’s just confusing when starting something like this but obviously had been there before and completely forgotten. Cheers!
