Hi @majourdaniel,
This explanation from @juliasydnor covers your issue:
“Unfortunately, when you delete a site it is permanent, so it’s not possible to get that site back.
You would need to create a new site in your WordPress.com account. You can learn more about that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/create-a-blog/
You will need to use a different site address when you create a new site, since the old site address cannot be reused.”
Here is the full link to an older forum where this same issue was discussed: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-recovery-my-deleted-site/

Hi there, I’d just like to update that if the site in question was deleted less than 30 days ago, you can request Support to recover the site for you by replying to the email you received following deletion of your site or by asking here in this forum thread using the same username account that registered the site on WordPressdotcom.
If it has been more than 30 days since site deletion, it will not be possible to recover the site and its content. You’ll need to register a new website as mentioned above.
Hope this helps.

Hi @mikabenjamin Welcome to volunteering in the community forums for sites hosted on WordPressdotcom. In case you haven’t seen it, Staff have written up a brilliant guide with lots of tips and tricks to help you get the most out of your experience helping WordPressdotcom users. You can find it here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-com-volunteers/
Please be cautious about quoting or referring to forum threads that are older than about 6 months because things here change all the time. :)
Cheers!

Hi there,
Please confirm the address that you are trying to get back.
I see http://storieslogecom.wordpress.com/ has been deleted, but that site was only deleted some time after you created this thread, so I assume you’re speaking of another site.
