    I’ve been trying to contact someone via live chat for two days. No response. I’m not getting an email response either. I know others have brought this up, but is there a problem? Any updates would be appreciated.

    When logged into WordPress.com, you can access live chat by clicking the question mark icon in the top right of your dashboard. Then, click Still need help? Type your question under “How can we help?” and press Chat with us to begin the chat session.

    Alternatively, you can contact us here.

    If you’re trying to access live chat from another screen, do you mind letting us know here? If you have any screenshots of what you’re seeing when you access chat, those will be helpful as well.

    Are you kidding me with this answer? I know how to access the live chat and all that. I’ve been doing it for two days and no one answers me on live chat. No one answers me by email. Just no response at all.

    You should really read the other threads about this. No one can access live chat for the past two days. I’ve tried and tried. And no one will email a response either. I pay $100 a year, been on WP for almost two decades, and no one can tell us what’s going on?

    And no one will email a response either. 

    I’ve done a search, and I can’t see that an email has been sent – when approximately was this sent?

    When accessing live chat, what are you actually seeing? We can see if this consistent to any other issues on our radar.

    Are you able to tell me the issue you’re facing and we’ll do our best to help you with that.

    I started a live chat and I was told a Happiness Engineer would be contacted, and if I didn’t get a reply in a few minutes they would contact me via email. I have started a few other live chats in the past 3 days and no one ever replies, and I don’t get any email replies either.

    I sent another email yesterday to help@wordpress.com.

    Is this a site-wide problem? There are others who are having this problem, right?

    I’m going to level with you here Bob, we have seen similar issues before, but not consistently. It seems to be intermittent.

    I appreciate the information you’re providing.

    What email address did you make contact from us from? I’ll try and track that down. I don’t see anything under the email address used for this account.

    I’m not going to tell you my email address in a public forum, but it’s the one associated with my WordPress account. And if you didn’t get it, maybe that’s because there’s a problem with your email/live chat/support, etc?

    And by the way, I just tried to add something to my above reply and it won’t let me! I click “Edit” under the three dots on the right and it tells me I can’t reply to this topic. I”m not trying to reply, I’m trying to edit.

    Only staff can see email addresses, just to reassure there, but that’s enough information to go with, I’ll keep on looking.

    What did you actually see when you submitted that email? Did you get any messages or confirmation pop-ups of that being sent? The reason why I ask is because, I really want to deduce if there’s something up and/or confirm suspicions. I would be super grateful, and at the same time I’m hoping it’s also reassuring.

    It’s not possible to edit past comments in the WordPress.com forums, but please do feel free to post the issue faced on this thread. Now we’re in a dialogue, we’re in a good position to help you with the issue faced.

    I’m not sure what you mean by what did I see when I sent the email. It was a regular email sent to your help@, via my email, not via a WP form or anything like that.

    I’ve also tried live chatting with your support, and I start the chat and no one has answered for three days. The chat says that they’ll contact me via email instead and no one has. For three days.

    I’m not sure what else I can do on my end. Though can’t we continue this support via email instead of this forum?

    (Oh, and as for the edit I tried to do on one of these replies above: I clicked on the three dots to the right of the comment and there were two options listed, Copy Link and Edit. Now there seems to be only one, Copy Link.)
