@gigisanchez
Go to the Admin side of your blog and look down at the very bottom on the left hand side. There you will see this:Thank you for creating with WordPress | Support | Forums
Click the “Support” link there and when you arrive on the support documentation page look down on the right hand column of that page. Under Support Home and Topics you will see “Contact Support“. Click that link.

Emailing support is about the LEAST effective thing you can do. That contact support link TT gave you will put your request in a queue to be answered. Once ALL those questions have been answered, if they have time, staff looks at email.
-
The contact form also provides support staff with a bunch of useful information. Support requests that are emailed inevitably slow things down by forcing staff to ask basic questions before they can do anything to help.

Tellyworth, Timethief, Raincoaster -thanks. I actually did exactly what you are saying to do (this morning, much earlier). I was looking for a “contact” link for about 15 minutes and never found one and then at the exact same time that Bats wrote me, I found the contact form at support. (Now I know it’s at the very bottom of my admin page). So I never sent an Email (couldn’t even find that). I probably should have written before that I found the “contact page,” not the Email address. Sorry for any confusion.

No problem. Now you know that you can be on the Admin side of your blog and click either the Forum http://en.support.wordpress.com/ or Support http://en.support.wordpress.com/ link and be there immediately.
What I believe Tellyworth is expressing above is there is an advantage to completing a support ticket. Completing it makes you slow down, think and provide details. That way Staff isn’t wasting time contacting the user to extract the information they ought to have been presented with up front.
Every time Staff deal with an issue they need to know:
— your browser
— your browser version
—your FULL blog address of the blog in question (not the name, the actual url that begins http:// note: there is no “www” in any wordpress.com url) )
— your FULL username
— the email address that you registered at wordpress.com with for the blog in question
— and a very good description of the exact problemI did:
I saw:
I expected:
If the problem is with a specific page, post or image then Staff needs the url for whichever is in question. If the problem occurred when following instruction in support documentation then a link to it is helpful.
Relying only on email and not having a ticketing system simply results in Staff getting vague and sketchy descriptions, so they have to keep dragging out ALL of the relevant information by sending repeated emails to the user. Only then can they can start examining solutions.
