    Hello WordPress!
    I have a blog on your website (techiecode.wordpress.com) i want to purchase a domain make make my blog to techiecode.com.
    the question is :
    will there any changes in my blog after i purchase the domain .
    will my contents remain same or i have to type the pages again on my new domain .
    if i post a post on my blog techiecode.wordpress.com will that be uploaded to techiecode.com

    The address your visitors will see will change – nothing else

    Contents remain the same in the same place – nothing to change

    All the old links will still work

    You will still work in the Dashboard of techiecode.wordpress.com – the contents won’t be “uploaded” to techiecode.com. as such – it will stay on techiecode.wordpress.com but the address your visitors will see will change to techiecode.com

    Buy the domain name – buy the mapping – good to go – nothing more to do (the changes to the address will take a few hours to reach the far corner of the internet (24 to 72 hours sometimes) )
