support for restoring site after plugin crash
-
Hi there!
I need immediate help with my site as it has just crashed due to a plug- in – Gravity forms.
I have received the email instructing me further but have no idea how to remove the plug, access my site, or begin the process of recovering it.If anyone can help me through this process asap I would be very thankful.

Hi there,
I don’t see any sites in the account you used to post here. Can you tell us the URL of the site you’re working on?
The email you received should have included a link to the WordPress.org troubleshooting page that explains how to disable a plugin directly in the database. For accessing the database itself to follow those instructions, you can check in your control panel at your hosting provider. You can also contact their support for help if you’re not sure where to find this.
You can also try contacting support for the Gravity Forms plugin directly. While they can’t help you with the access needed on your host’s end, they’ll be able to help you troubleshoot what caused this in the first place, to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
The forum you’re posting to now is for the hosting provider, WordPress.com. We’re not the same thing as the WordPress software you’re using for your site, and as your site isn’t hosted on our servers, and we don’t make the Gravity Forms plugin, we’re not really able to help in this case.
