Support forums are boring in the holidays

But do tell about your “Big Freaking Deal on a hacker group”
will you be rich?
maybe not in public. just whisper…

Hmmmm…. I’ve got to go to bed soon so I am not going to search for something related to kilts and unexpected frostbite to vulnerable body parts. I want sleep, not nightmares.
Oh ok, I couldn’t resist. I didn’t find what I was looking for though as my eye was caught by the seasonally appropriate YouTube clip entitled Unicyling Darth Vader Santa Claus Plays Flaming Bagpipes at Night.
I’m sure your friend would have loved this musical accessory (who wouldn’t?) even though it might not have been too much help with the snow shovelling.

I’m going to be doing spam sweeps through the holidays (as are other forum crew people). But you how that goes with cockroaches, as soon as you kill one, another shows up.

No Mumbai yesterday – did someone finally put a filter on the Subject Line? If so good on them
Seems there has been a lower level of spammers of recent
Need at least a bit of humor or original something

I could register a troll account. It had better not come to that, because THAT would get ugly.
-
This is what happens when I get bored: scrolling through old threads biting my tongue. You KNOW what happens next: I weaken.

You wish! As recent as 2 days ago, it was me against 6 or 7 people posting the escort stuff and then there’s the random buy this or look at me stuff. My next WordCamp t-shirt project will have sequinned embroidery with Watch NFL Live, Mumbai Escorts and Modlook on it. :)
Rain! =:-o You need a Dangerous When Bored t-shirt!

The thousand or so spam Mumbai got boring – and the cheap turkeys did not even have any good pictures – what pikers
Jen – probably sell a bunch of those shirts

These people, particularly, I wish to smack upside the head. “I’m being paid to know what I’m doing, but I don’t, and I won’t give you the information you need to solve the problem.” Okay, fuck you, princess.

Maybe we should ask them if they are charging for their ignorance?
The answer to their question is very very simple

Hypothetical @RC Hypothetical
Then there are the ones that show up – we get the URL to give them accurate help, that yes they are charging some sucker client for their training – once we fix their problems and the site is running like the client needs – the consultant shows back up and wants the URL deleted from the forum for “security reasons” – as in their job security because they don’t want the client to know how much trouble they had getting the site to work
I could never charge like that –
