Support in building a webist

    Hi, I currently have a free blog through WordPress.com (laurina86.wordpress.com) and I would like to make it a website and I have some specific questions about how to go about it since I would not want to lose my content. I would also like to change the current name ‘laurina86’ into the name of my blog: ‘In The Kitchen with Laura’. It looks more professional.
    Lastly, I have questions such as: what are the costs,what type of support do I get, is it possible to chat with a customer service directly rather than going back and forth with emails, etc…

    Hi,

    It’s relatively simple to change your domain. If you go into your site management page, you’ll find the “Domains” double-button on the left-hand side, near the bottom of the menu. You can experiment there and see which ones are available, and at what prices. A custom domain name is included with every paid plan, or you can get a custom domain separately, or you might find another .wordpress.com address that works for you (though the steps for this will be a little different).
