Support needed – tax exempt org

I need staff support for our site – I’d rather not list the URL in this forum.
I have repeatedly filled out the ‘contact’ form and received no assistance. -

I don’t see any support requests for your account prior to this forum thread. Which form did you fill out previously?
Can you please tell me the URL of the site you’re trying to upgrade? I’m happy to remove the URL from the thread again, but I need that information in order to help you.
I’ll also need to know in which country (and state if it’s in the US) your organisation is registered for tax purposes.

Location: NY/USI filled out the form with the following caption:
“Get help from an Expert User of WordPress.com. These are other users, like yourself, who have been selected because of their knowledge to help answer your questions.Please do not provide financial or contact information when submitting this form.”
This sort of form shows up in multiple places on wordpress.com – I can’t seem to find something that distinctly opens up a proper ticket. Of course, maybe that would show up if I had a paid account, but that’s where the catch-22 kicks in. (Can’t legally pay sales tax – would have to use my own CC and not get reimbursed.)

Thanks for explaining. You’re right, WordPress.com experts support free users, and they can escalate issues to our staff if needed. Still, I don’t see any open tickets from this account.
Anyways, how can we help you? I understand that you’d like to purchase a subscription, and you have some questions about taxes?

I work for a non-profit organization that has tax-exempt status in the state of NY.
I would like to pay monthly for a Business subscription – I’m looking to evaluate WordPress.com for our organization to migrate off a hosted instance.
I cannot complete the order for said account unless the sales tax is removed.
I can furnish (not in these forums) the relevant paperwork.
(NYS ST-119.1 and W-9)P.S. I don’t care to split hairs, but I filled out two of those contact forms – they seem to have gone into a black hole. It’s neither here nor there since you’re offering support now. (It has made me look fairly slow within my department, though.)
