Support of CSS3 in Custom Design ??

  Starting with Wordpres.com I am interested in the upgrade to The Custom Design option …
  I started to play with it, copying/pasting code from Colorzilla so as to apply to the body tag a gradient compatible with the current versions of the main browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox), but clicking on the preview button didn’t yield any significant change in the design ..
  The code is on the other hand perfectly working in those same browsers when I copy/paste it in Dreamwearver ..
  So it seems it is related to your preview engine …. Will it work if I pay for the 30$ ..??
  Before asking this question I perused the Custom Design FAQ at :

  and had also a look at some threads like :

  which were mentioning such problems with CSS3 support …
  Are those problems still existing in March 2012 ???

  Yes we will do that … although seeing that you are answering to most posters I would expect your level of expertise would allow you to answer by yourself, especially since this question seems to have been already asked a few times …??
  Thank you anyway for your quick answer … How come your pseudo is Timethief whereas you are constantly saving everybody’s precious time …??
  If I understand correctly, during the week I am supposed to use the contact form from http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ and from saturday to tuesday use the forum ..??
  If I am using the contact form, will everyone be able to profit from the answer brought by the staff to that question or will they answer me by mail only ..??

  @originalwebdesigner, some CSS doesn’t work but we’re working to get those things added. At this time, gradients are not supported, but background colors are.

  If the same questions get asked a lot, that’s good because it shows interest and it’s likely an area we should look to when we make improvements to features.
