Support Request: Transfer of Followers from wordpress.com to wordpress.org
-
Hello,
I’ve just moved my blog from wordpress.com to a self-hosted wordpress.org site. I have the Jetpack plugin installed and connected up to the wordpress.com site. Would you be able to transfer my existing followers across, please?
Thanks,
Ian
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I’d be happy to help you out.
First, I’d need to know which WordPress.com site you’d like to move the followers from.
Second, you will need to connect Jetpack to your user account that owns that blog. I do not see any Jetpack blogs connected to the username blogramme at this time.

Thanks, Jackie. The site is blogramme.wordpress.com. According to my new site JEtpack is definitely connected to wordpress.com. There’s only one user on there which is blogramme.

Hi blogramme,
Thanks, I can see the Jetpack site there now.
Your WordPress.com subscribers and email followers have been transferred as requested.
Please note that any WordPress.com followers who opted to receive email updates will need to re-subscribe again on your new site through the Jetpack signup box, otherwise they’ll only see new posts in their Reader. Non-WordPress.com email subscribers will continue to get email updates.
Do you wish for me to merge your site stats as well?
