Support response

I have sent in two emails and still have not received a response. Is someone around to check that the domain mapping for my domain teanhoneybread.com has been removed as I am receiving this error intermittently despite the site working sometimes on different platforms and with cell, wi-fi, and ethernet.

teanhoneybread.com is now self-hosted. It was hosted here until two days ago when I canceled the plan and the domain mapping. The wordpress.com site was teanhoneybreadcom.wordpress.com which I deleted.

However, despite domain propagation being complete (according to DNS checker), I am seeing the following when visiting sometimes on Cell, Wifi, and/or Ethernet

I have cleared all cache, restarted computer/browsers/ethernet. Sometimes the correct site shows, sometimes the old WordPress.com site shows, and sometimes I get the message in the screenshot above. It is not a caching issue on my end.

This is an image of the old site that was hosted here:

  • Hey there, I can see support responded a few days ago. If you aren’t seeing that you’ll need to check your mail filters to see if our responses are ending up in spam.

That said, the only way for us to fix the missing domain connection message on this side is to host the site here again. The message just means that, for whatever reason, your DNS is pointing the domain to our services, which you are no longer using. You aren’t using our DNS either, so it’s not really something we can troubleshoot on this side.

I would imagine it’s still a propagation issue, but you might also look into conflicting DNS records. Your current host will be the best help for this. Then going forward, for any help with WordPress, please be sure to use the correct forum over at WordPress.org. Good luck!
