Suppress pingbacks when I link t omy own posts?

  Hi all,

  In my posts I often creat links back to ealier posts of my own on the same subject. When I do this, it creates a pingback on the older post. Is there any way of suppressing this? I’m happy to have pingbacks if people reference my posts from elsewhere, but it seems unecessary if I’m simply referencing myself.

  SO, can I suppress only those pingbacks that come from withing the blog, if you see what I mean?
