Suppressing posts on twentyeleven static front page
-
I set a static front page for https://ricksgardendesigns.wordpress.com which uses the twentyeleven theme, but it is still displaying posts below the static page. How can I suppress those posts from appearing below the static front page?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

One more note – the static front page is using the showcase template. I want to use the showcase template, since it is the only page template that doesn’t display the page name as a headline at the top of the page content (which is awkward and unnecessary on a home page).

Hi there, I’m not seeing any posts now on your front page. I do see comments below the content. I checked and see you have set the static front page back to the Default Template.
On Twenty Eleven, if you use the Showcase template on your front page, it does show recent posts below the page content.
With the Custom Design upgrade, we could use the following CSS to remove the page title on your static front page.
.home .entry-title { display: none; }You can try out and preview custom CSS before you buy as explained here.
