Suppressing the Title of Videopress Video

    I’d like to suppress the title of the video in my embedded video on my self-hosted WordPress blog.

    Adding this code to “style.css” and it didn’t change anything:

    .videopress-title {
    display: none !important;
    }

    Interestingly, most of the embedded video is not displaying titles, but some are.

    Video uploaded into my wordpress.com media library correctly auto-generates a title based on the file name of the uploaded video. But in the “Preview and Insert” section under the “Edit Media” page for each video, the title of the video is either shown in the preview and placed above the WordPress logo, or it isn’t shown in the preview. For those videos where the title isn’t present in the “Preview and Insert” section, the video title doesn’t appear on my blog.

    I wonder if I need to upload video to wordpress.com in a specific way, is there a shortcode I can use to suppress the title of the video when embedding, or is there something I can do that might get the above CSS code to work?
