  I would like to put my webpage development on hold for a few months until I can finish another project and give it my attention. I don’t want to pay for anything that I will not be using during that time and not lose any sight design I have in it thus far. Thanks for your help.

  What is the address of your site and is it hosted here at WordPress.com? Sites here can be set to private. If your site is hosted elsewhere and using the WordPress.org software then the chances are if you stop paying your host you will lose site/domain.
