Suspension of my "modular9.net" site

    Hello,

    My query concerns my site “modular9.net”, which was suspended. Even though I was billed for its recent renewal. I therefore can no longer have access to it.

    When I try to login, the following messsage appears:

    “This domain has been suspended due to non-completion of an ICANN-mandated contact verification.”
    […]

    As my contact address (i.e., my e-mail) is known and can easily be verified, if needed, I don’t understand why my site was suspended. Therefore, I would much appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue and enabling me to reactivate my site as soon as possible.

    Hi @nelander009, the email address on the domain’s contact settings needs to be corrected or verified. That can only be done with the account that owns the domain, and that domain is not owned by this account.

    Can you start by logging out and logging back in with that username? If you need help regaining access first, here’s how:

    Next, when you’re in the right account, please double check your own account settings as well as the domain’s contact info to ensure the address listed there is correct and still works properly. You’ll have an opportunity to change it or resend a verification email.

    Then, check that email for the verification link, and click that. The domain will be unsuspended, and will start working again shortly.

    Again, the first step is getting logged into the right account. If you need help with that part, please let us know:

    Thank you very much for your assistance, Supernovia. I updated my account and domain e-mail addresses and my site is now active again. However, when I try to connect to it, either with Firefox, Chrome or Opera, the browsers each sow the sam message warning me that my site’s address, ‘https.//modular9.net.wordpress.com’, is unsecure and could be hacked. Therefore, my site still can’t be securely accessed from outside.

    I informed WordPress.com about this problem and am waiting for their reply. If, on your side, you would have any hint or advice to give me in ordrer to solve this issue, I would very much appreciate it.

    I apologize for the typing errors in my last message. On the third line, please read “…the browsers each show the same message…” (and not “…each sow the sam…”).

    To access your site, you should use the address modular9.net or modular-9.org. No need to add anything else to it :)
    It works just as expected then.

    Also, remember that when you log in to the other account, you can access Live Chat directly via https://wordpress.com/help/contact. That way, you can get help faster.

    Thank you very much for your advice. Yes, just entering the domain name now works perfectly.

    I therefore can mark this issue as solved and thank everyone again for their prompt support.
