Suspicious e-mail followers

  I am getting a lot of suspicious e-mail followers. What can be done about this? A similar thread on this topic that has been closed was not at all helpful. The WordPress representative that commented basically said to just ignore them. That is not a solution to me, especially when it is becoming a problem to sort out of my e-mail box all these scammers and I am afraid of accidentally responding to one of them.

  Nothing can be done about this, unfortunately, unless you set your blog to Private.
