Suspicious e-mail from WordPress
-
I have received an e-mail asking me to verify my e-mail with WordPress. Is this a phishing scam?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can you share a screenshot of that email which you received so that someone can have a look at it and verify if it’s authentic?

Also, the return e-mail indicates that it is from (email visible only to moderators and staff)

Hi there,
It looks like you had a domain with us, dorispac.com, which recently expired. When the domain expired, so did it’s verification, which causes a new verification email to be sent from our registrar. That email is from them and is legitimate, but is also actually a bug on our registrar’s end, as it shouldn’t be sent after a domain has already expired like in this case.
You can disregard that email.
If you did not mean to let that domain expired, I’m still able to get it back for you at this point, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain that is this far expired. I’ll need you to agree to that fee before I can get the recovery process started.

Thank you for replying!! I wanted to let the domain lapse, so nothing needs to be done. Thank you again for replying.
