suspicious followers

  I have received a rash of email followers with similar outlook.com addresses. Has anyone else and what could it mean?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’ve just noticed many others have this problem and it is being looked into.

  Hi!

  This issue has been identified by the WordPress.com team and a staff has issued an official comment about this here.

  They’re working on fixing this.

  In the meantime, if you are uncomfortable with any of them following your site, you can remove your email followers on this page and remove all other followers on this page.

  Hi there @markkerst, Staff have also advised in that thread that they will provide updates there. If you would like to receive email updates on that topic, you can subscribe to that thread by clicking on the Subscribe to Topic link in the sidebar of that thread.

  @strikebuys – Thanks for pointing the user to the Staff reply in that thread. If you could also add a “spam followers” tag to any additional thread you reply to, that will help Staff keep track of the number of forum threads. Thanks for your help.
