Suspicious links under-People clicked links from these pages . . .

    For the past week or so I have noticed quite a few listings of people who supposedly clicked links from pages listed on my site stats page. When I click on the links I go to some pretty weird sites. I don’t think that anyone visiting any of these sites would come to my site for any reason. Something wacky is going on. Can someone clue me in.

    Can’t clue you in if you won’t give any examples of the links. It’s probably just sites from the Adsense WP.com displays on your site, unless you’ve got the No Ads paid update

    They’re called “referral spam”, it’s a way to get people to visit spam sites. You can ignore them, or collect them and send them to support.

    Or raincoaster could be right… are you seeing the links under the “Referrers” part of your dashboard, or your “Clicks” part?
