Suspicious Multiple User Registrations

    For the past month or more I am getting more than 40 New User Registrations signing on to my blog site daily. I have not posted a new blog since last spring. Most come from one email site, either mytrend24.info or Yahoo.com. It seems like phishing to me. Have others experienced this and if so did you take any action?

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.

    Please post in the self-hosted WordPress forums instead for help:

    Most likely you have guest signups enabled under Settings ->General in WP-Admin.
