Suspicious Outlook Followers

Hi,
I saw this in the forums a few months ago but the problem is still happening to me.I get email followers from Outlook every second day or so and they all have usernames like “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” or “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” and other gibberish names. They used to show up as email followers on my site but not anymore. However I keep getting these emails.
Have they figured out why there are weird Outlook followers yet?

The random @outlook.com email addresses that have been following you are spam. We are working on blocking those, and at the same time removing the ones that make it past our filters as we detect them, which is why they’re not showing up in your followers list.
