Has anyone heard or seen of Strong Tower Ministries? I went to their site after a charge was made for twenty dollars from an account I was asked to keep secure. Their website has the ‘powered by wordpress’ identifier, upon navigation, I searched and Strong Tower Ministries was not found! If the site is in fact legitimate, to what extent would it take in finding a solid, yet thorough channel of communication?

We can’t help you as ‘powered by wordpress’ usually means it uses the open source wordpress.org which is in no way related to the wordpress.com platform.

We’ll need to know the actual URL of the site to know for sure, but as @staartmees said, this site is most likely using the open source WordPress software at another host.
If you suspect this charge is fraudulent, I recommend you dispute the charge with your bank/credit card company.
If you know the URL of the actual site, and you suspect the site itself is fraudulent, you can report them directly to their hosting provider – those are the only people who would be able to take action against the site itself.
