Suspicious/Spammy email

    I’ve received an email from someone priyaranjan Blogs <(email visible only to moderators and staff)> inviting me to become an administrator of that blog I have never heard of with this note: As an administrator you will be able to do anything. Nothing is off-limits. Don’t let the power go to your head!

    The email has an accept invitation blue button. What can WordPress do about something/someone like this?

    Hi there!

    An email like this is sent out when someone invites you to collaborate on their blog. In this case, it looks like they would like you to be an admin on the site.

    If you do not know this person or blog, I’d suggest ignoring the email. If you keep receiving invitations like this repeatedly from the same blog, let us know the URL of the site, we’ll take a closer look.
