suspicious stats page entry

  I reviewed my stats this morning and noticed an odd looking entry in the (new) Stats page.

  url for this stats page is

  stats hack date

  then i clicked on the entry and saw this

  suspicious stats entry detail page

  I then checked via Inspect my posts since the beginning of time.

  there is no post-1657 on my blog

  plus you see this champagne glass icons dating back to sept 2014
  i dont know what this means
  but why does it say a non-existing post has been around since sept of last year?
  could this be a deleted post that somehow is still in google cache or something like that a user clicked on?

  i’m totally at loss to explain this mysterious entry

  could someone at WP explain to me what this entry means, and indicate to me whether my account has been hacked?

  Thanks for the detailed screenshots! That helps a ton. What date are you seeing this for? Per your screenshots, it looks like 2/3/15, but I’m not seeing a view on a link that looks like your “Stats Page Entry 1” image.

  yes you see it if you click on View All for today’s stats (feb 3)

  It looks like those views are to the following image:

  http://needlepointland.com/2014/09/29/thread-heaven/20140928_111933/

  That image is currently appearing in Google searches so the most likely scenario is someone found it in an image search.

  okay it doesnt explain why it was associated with an non existent post
  but i may have deleted it
  as long as my account was not compromised, i’m good thx!

  It doesn’t look like your site was compromised in any way so I think we’re good to go here. But, if you notice any additional weirdness, let us know!
