Swap domain name on two sites

I have two sites with different domain names. One has a nearly competed site, the other is just a test. I now want to change the domain name of the completed site to the name of the test site. How can I do this ?

Hi there,
Are you speaking of the free address? There is no easy way to swap free WordPress.com URLs between sites. In fact, it’s not possible at all, but to swap the sites you’ll need to swap the content instead.
You will need a third site. So, you’ll export your content from site A to site C, then empty site A. Next export the content of Site B to site A and empty site B. Lastly export site C to site B. This will also move only your content, not any customizations you made in the theme. Those you’ll need to do manually on the new site.
If you don’t care about the content of the test site you can also simply delete the test site, and them export/import the content of the completed site there. That way you’ll end up with the same content on both sites.

If I delete the test site do I lose the domain name is has or can I still use the name on the other site?

If you delete any free address that address is gone forever and you won’t be able to re-use it. If you want to keep the address available you can just set it to private.
I can also empty a site for you, but there is no way to undo it, so I’ll need you to confirm you understand that if you request me to empty a site, and I’ll need you to confirm the URL of the site in question.
