Swap domain names without double charge?

Is it possible to get rid of the .org domain name I chose when setting up the website (it came free with the plan I purchased) and swap it for a new domain name without having to pay for a second domain name?

Hi,
If the domain was registered within the past two business days you can cancel the domain and receive the credit back to use for another domain of your choosing.
If the domain was registered more than two business days ago, you would need first purchase a new domain. Once you have purchased a new domain you can then change your site address to the new domain. To have auto-renew disabled for the old domain, please click here and follow the link to contact support.

To confirm what sstabrizi said, I can see you registered your domain on 2017-08-21 which is outside the refund period(48 hours after registration). So you won’t be able to get another domain name without paying for it.
It is important to know that cancelled domains are not released by the registrar immediately. Also note that here’s no guarantee you’ll be able to use a domain again as it may be sold to someone else. Therefore you should cancel a domain, if and only if, you are sure you do not wish to use it again.

I see that you went ahead and purchased the .com custom domain on top of the existing .org domain you purchased last month. Since the .com domain is the domain you prefer using moving forward, would you like for me to connect it to the Personal Plan you purchased? staff-doublebassd I am trying to contact customer support but the “contact us” page comes up blank for me. I just want to confirm that the domain bellwethercommunications.org will not auto-renew. Thanks.

I have disabled auto renew for bellwethercommunications.org and the domain will expire naturally on 2018-08-21 without you being charged.
