Swedish characters weird

    I’m a beginner at WordPress, and have just created my first WordPress site for a university assignment. I’m using the Hever-theme, and everything has been working well until today, when all of a sudden the Swedish characters ÅÄÖ/åäö look strange at my site. I have not made any updates since yesterday, and then it worked fine. What’s even more strange is that the characters work fine for some blocks, but not all.

    What can be the problem here, and how can I fix it? I can do a quick-fix by changing the characters to html-code, but it feels like I’m just fixing the symptom, not the actual issue.
