Switch from Private to Public not working?

I have created a private blog and I’m ready to go public. Now I go to the Privacy settings and click the radio button related to visibility, but the system does not take the change.
What am I doing wrong? Or what other setting do I need to change to make this work, please.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We need a link to the blog. The site linked to your username is not a wordpress.COM blog.

Did you click “save changes” after selecting the button under settings > privacy? You might want to try it again, and then wait for a while before moving away from that page. WordPress has been incredibly slow for me lately and sometimes it takes up to 30 seconds for a setting change or a post save to actually complete.

Did it, and did it again just now. When the system reloads, the old radio button is pressed, saying “visible only to users I choose.”

OK, log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again. It may be a cookie or cache issue.

I recommend trying to delete and clear your browser cookies and cache
and see if this corrects the issue you’re experiencing.

so they can look at the back end components.
