    Hi @thesteppingoutinfaith!

Were you able to resolve this issue?

While similar, WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are different. It is very easy to confuse the two and difference between them can be read here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/.

If you need to work on your WordPress.ORG site, try logging in with this link: http://thesteppingoutinfaith.com/wp-admin.

Should you need further assistance with your self-hosted site, you’ll need to visit their forums at https://wordpress.org/support/.

It sounds like you don’t need assistance with your WordPress.COM site, but if you do, please let us know!

Edit: I’ve added the modlook tag to have the staff assist you with your plans. They can also assist if you’re still having login issues and can fill in the gaps if I have forgotten any information to give you.

    Hi there,

I only see the self-hosted site at http://thesteppingoutinfaith.com/ in your account, and no upgrades on your account at all.

What is the address of the WordPress.com site?

Your WordPress.org site is connected to this WordPress.com account via the Jetpack plugin. That is why you can log into WordPress.com to access it. But if you have another WordPress.com site as well, that site belongs to a completely different account.

I started faithsjourneyweb.wordpress.com I did not upgrade that one. I went in and started a new blog under wordpress.org named thesteppingoutinfaith.com that I did under the personal plan.

Is there a way to delete the wordpress.com blog and just keep the wordpress.org one?

    Faith

thesteppingoutinfaith.com is the site attached to this account. This is a self-hosted site connected here via Jetpack, and you don’t have any upgrades on our system for this site. WordPress.com plans don’t apply to Jetpack sites. The Free Plan you see if you go to My Site ->Plans refers to a Jetpack plan, but that’s something completely different from the WordPress.com Personal Plan.

http://faithsjourneyweb.wordpress.com belongs to a different username, faithsjourneyweb, but that account also doesn’t own any upgrades. To delete that site you’ll need to log into the faithsjourneyweb username account as only the account that owns a site can delete it.

If you bought a plan from us you would have received a receipt via email, and your bank/credit card statement would show an entry for WORDPRESS or JETPACK, depending which plan you bought. Can you see that on your statement?

The other option is that you might be thinking of the hosting plan you bought from Bluehost. That is also something completely different from a WordPress.com plan, and that won’t show anywhere in our system as you didn’t buy it from us.
