Switch from WordPress.com to WordPress.org

  Hi there
  I purchased a Premium WordPress.com domain, but wish to switch across to WordPress.org. I have an existing website, and a domain name which I wish to continue to use, and once I have updated the website (on WordPress.org), I will update.
  Could someone please advise how I can switch? Unfortunately I didn’t realise the WordPress.com’s limitations in this regard prior to signing up.

  Hi Simone,

  There are two approaches for making this switch. You could go the Guided Transfer route, which involves a service cost, and the other is a method where you handle the move.
