Switch post type

    Is it possible to switch some regular posts to the WordPress.com Portfolio post type? I need to import some custom post types from a self-hosted WordPress site and I’d like to convert them to the Portfolio post type available in WordPress.com.

    Hi there!

    You’ll want to do that manually, I’m afraid, as it won’t be possible to change the content type automatically.

    That said, you can import all your content as explained here:

    Import a Website

    And once you have it all, copy the post you want to add as a portfolio project, create a new project and paste the content there.
