Switch theme, lose widgets?

  I’d like to try out a few different themes — not just preview them, but live with them for a few days. I’m just afraid that once I hit “Activate,” I’m going to lose my widgets, including a rather elaborate blogroll. Are my widgets safe?

  Yes. They will be found in the Inactive Widgets box after you change themes. All you need to do is go here > Appearance > Widgets > Inactive Widgets and re-install them where you want them to appear.
