Switch to Baskerville 2 – posts images are gone

Hi,
I’m not a fan of new WordPress, for many reasons, but the number of small issues it throws at me, makes me think about switching to other platforms more and more every day.
Recently I switch theme to Baserville 2 from Dyad 2 and today I realize that all posts images are not displaying anymore. When I use try button before installing, all posts looks ok, then after switch all post are missing images (except featured image) and show only the alternative name instead.
Is there any fix for that?

After a small investigation I found out, that some images are back, but some just diapered from media and that’s why they are not displayed in posts.
Is it possible, that switching theme could result of removing images from media libary?

Hi there!
Switching themes shouldn’t affect your content.
The only instance where the images could disappear from your Media Library would be if they were added via URL and removed from the original source. Was this the case with the images that disappeared? -
Nope. I always upload pictures to media library before I add them to the posts. Shame there is no history available to check when they vanished.
