switch to classic mode
-
I still get those bi-boobs when I am editing wordpress posts. Will you please switch it off, for good and for always. Pleeeeease!
-
I have no issue with switching to using the classic editor. I go to > Dashboard > Posts > Add New and use it there.
MY OS is Windows 7 and I’m running IE11, Firefox 33 and Chrome 38.
-
Yeah, I’m doing the same thing, timethief. That’s the only way I can get anything to work beyond the beeping screen.
-
You don’t go to “Add New” when you’re opening a post or page to revise, edit, or just to check on something. I have to switch back to classic at least once per day. It seems to be reset daily, though I haven’t yet figured out the schedule.
It’s a nuisance, though WP is certainly free to advertise as they like.
-
That is, it’s apparently reset daily even if you don’t log out of your account. It’s also evidently reset every time you log out.

-
If I go in to revise old blogs, it seems to be taking me to Classic editor automatically. I hope that doesn’t change.
-
I thought I had the same problem as commentators on this forum in not being able to use the classic until accessed my WordPress website through Google Chrome. The problem vanished immediately.

Hey, looks like all our moaning has paid off and Classic Dashboard is now coming up as a bona fide option. Thanks, WordPress!

Hi there.
It is very easy to use the classic/old editor.
See the menu here:

How is this new UI supposed to be better?!?!? Less info, less functionality, and less ease of use! If I wanted this, I’d use Tumblr exclusively!
