Switch to monthly (Creator) plan from yearly (Starter) plan

Hi I am running a website for a benefit music festival. I need to switch from the starter (yearly) plan to the creator (monthly) plan, with my purchase of the starter plan credited toward the upgrade. However, when I go to the upgrade page there is no option for monthly available. I have seen on other forum entries that this can be fixed on the backend. It is a bit URGENT since we need to get plugin access to get a raffle and volunteer sign up pages up and running ASAP for the festival with the ecommerce options available for the creator plan. I reached out to support but worried about long response times. Thanks, Ethan

Thanks for getting in touch. You can switch from the yearly Starter Plan to a monthly Creator plan. To do this, first cancel your current annual plan by going to your Purchases page and following the guide at https://wordpress.com/support/manage-purchases/#cancel-a-plan
Since your plan is within our 14-day refund period, you will receive a refund for the charge, minus the cost of the domain ($12). Note that there is no “first year free” domain credit on monthly plans, so to keep your sunbirdfest.com domain, you will need to pay for the registration.
After canceling your annual plan, subscribe to the Creator plan on a monthly basis directly from this page: https://wordpress.com/plans/monthly/sunbirdfest.com
