switch username to other blog

  I created an account to start, and then added a second blog… how do i change my username to the second blog, or separate the blogs into their own accounts…

  currently:
  username A = blog A and blog B

  to:
  username A = blog A
  username B = blog B

  i do not want to loose either username

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  yes, thank you… i have used the username that i want to name blog B so it wont let me create the new account because the username already exists ( i created it and own it )… if i try to delete it from the original account, i will not be able to use it for the new account/username…
  I found another post in “support” that was a better asking of my question and someone flagged it so that the staff can help…

  I just did this and Support would have to help you on this. But you need another email account to go through with this. But contact Support and tell them exactly what you want done with the links of your blogs included.

  Forgot to add how what I just explained above means that both your blogs would now become two separate accounts from now on.

  Forgot to say that if you make the blogs into two separate blogs now, a few of the settings get changed on both blogs and I had to re-do them again.

  Go to Dashboard > Users > Personal Setings

  Go to where it says Twitter API and un-check that if you don’t want your geolocation data published on Twitter if you send your posts there. On both my blogs, it was checked on mine after I changed usernames.

  Go to Dashboard > Settings > Sharing

  Make sure that Publicize is the way you want it if you use it. If not, then you have to add them again. When you’re all done with re-adding it, then log out and clear all your cookies, cache, and history and log back in to see if it’s the way you want it.

  And when I upload an image, I use to have the Link URL as File URL. Now it gets put at Post URL. So I have to remember to click File URL when I log back in. I only have to do that once and not every post. But because I delete all cookies, cache, and history every night, I have to remember to click File URL for that day I update my blog.

  This has to be done on both blogs now. Well, at least on my two blogs I have to.
