I have my domain, SSL certificate (expiring soon) and Web hosting (also expiring soon) with GoDaddy. How do I move this to WordPress.com? I wish I could contact sales directly.

    Hi muchospanish,

I have my domain, SSL certificate (expiring soon) and Web hosting (also expiring soon) with GoDaddy. How do I move this to WordPress.com?

We don’t currently support incoming domain transfers to WordPress.com. However, you can use domain mapping to connect your existing domain to a WordPress.com site:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

Domain mapping is a feature of paid plans — Personal, Premium and Business. Each plan includes a domain credit which can be used to map a domain you already own (or register a new one).

We offer free HTTPS on all WordPress.com sites by default, including those with a custom domain.

I wish I could contact sales directly.

The Premium plan you purchased for muchospanish.wordpress.com includes email and Live Chat support, which you can access from this page:

    https://wordpress.com/help/contact/

You’re welcome to get in touch with us there if you have questions about a particular part of the process of moving to WordPress.com :)

Hi, Thanks for the information but I am still very confused about getting started. The contact does not show me any live chat support, and when I log into WordPress.com, it shows that I am not on the Premium plan. There’s a button that gives me the option to upgrade to the plan I paid for.

    Hi muchospanish,

Switching to muchospanish.wordpress.com in My Sites will display the plan as ‘Premium’. However, if you aren’t on that site, the plan will be displayed as ‘Free’ because there are no upgrades for the other sites in your account.

The contact does not show me any live chat support

If all of our Live Chat staff are busy, you will be prompted to email us instead. Either way, support will be available :)
