Switch wordpress account from bluehost to wordpress

Hello,
My WordPress account was originally created for use with Bluehost. I do not want to use Bluehost anymore, and instead I wish to purchase a plan from WordPress. Unfortunately, the confusing UX seems to imply that I cannot, most likely because this account was created with Bluehost. How can I use this account to get a WordPress plan instead?

Bluehost and WordPress.com are two different places. But if you have a site at Bluehost built with the wordpress software you can move the contents and domain (if you’ve owned it for more than 60 days) to a site at WordPress.com. Use this precastguys account here to buy a plan.
