Switch wordpress url (I have both wordpress site names)

Dear All,
I have two wordpress blogs with one username. I want to change blog number 1 to the name of number 2, and visa versa. Is there a way to do this?
I tried: changing blog 1 to 1b and changing 2 to 2b. (and then 1b -> 2, and 2b -> 1). But this doesnt work as wordpress tells me that the other original name (1) is still in use.Thank you in advance for any advice.

Hi there. This is possible, but not simple. You cannot simply switch the URLs, so you have to switch the content. If you make a mistake you could end up losing your content, so please consider whether it’s really worth it to make this swap.
You’ll need to create a third blog. Give it any URL you like. Once you’re done you can set it to private and use as a test blog to try out new themes and widgets without messing up your regular blogs.
Export the content from the first blog and import it to the test blog (http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-between-wordpress-com-blogs). Once you’re sure everything is on the test blog, delete the content from the first blog. (http://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/)
Warning: importing can take a while depending on how many posts and media files you’re moving, so be prepared to spend a couple of days on this. Make especially sure that your media files are physically in the other blog’s library (not just appearing in posts) before you delete them.
Export the content from the second blog and import it to the first blog. Once you’re sure everything has imported, delete the content from the second blog.
Export the content from the test blog and import it to the second blog. Set the test blog to private, but leave the content – that way you’ll see how any changes affect the look of different posts when you’re testing new themes, etc. (http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/) If you’d rather delete the test blog, see here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
The themes of the two blog you’ll have to switch manually, and if they have different settings, custom headers, etc. you’ll have to change all of them as well.
Please be careful to not delete anything unless you’re sure it’s somewhere else otherwise you can lose it for good. Also don’t clear out the trash/recycle bins on either blog before you know you’re done.

The only other solution could be to purchase domain names and do a site redirect or a domain mapping:
