switched domain and now wordpress domain deleted

    Hello, I had my site as islandshinepv.wordpress.com and tried to switch to the domain name that my client had purchased islandshinepv.com.

    I tried to fiddle around with it on my end here on WP and switch it. Now it looks like everything that I created has been deleted and I cant find it anywhere.

    Is there a solution to this?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    Hey there @islandshinepv – did you still need help with this? I see the domain is connected to a home page with an island and a wave. Is that the right site? If not, send more context and we’ll help you get that sorted.

    Also, you’ll want to be aware that when you make a change to a domain’s settings, it can take several hours (sometimes even a few days) to take full effect. So if it’s been few hours since you checked, you might try loading the domain now to see if it’s resolved itself.
